[Read] Ariana Grande's Interview Demands: Don't Mention MARIAH!

So you wanna interview latest pop sensation, Ariana Grande? Well you better learn the rules, and refrain from talking about the following things:

[Watch] Hillary Duff Lip-syncs Her Way Through "All About You" @ Australian X-Factor

Being British and not of appropriate age when this Diva was a Disney kid, it's perhaps unsurprising I'm unaware of Hillary Duff's musical output. Some of you may may not be so ignorant, and actually be super excited about the Phoenix Downing of her musical career -wiki tells me her last release was 2007's Dignity- so I thought I'd post this.

[Free For All Friday]

RIP Joan Rivers....

If you don't know the score, here be the rules:
  • Try not to get too perverted- this site needs to basically be "safe for work".
  • If somebody starts a controversial subject, try keeping it civil when dealing with it. If things get out of hand please flag the conversation.
  • It would be nice if it stuck to music, but it's not a requirement! So talk about news, current events, how you're getting your hair done next time you hit the hairdresser! Whateves, really!
  • No nasty comments aimed at other users.
Inappropriate hugs to all of y'all (hi-fives to the underagers), and wishing you an awesome weekend!

[Discussion Post] Ariana Grande's New Album "My Everything"

Ariana Grande has scored her second number one album in less than a year with sophomore release My Everything. Many congratulations flow from my lips to this young Diva's ears!

Unfortunately I haven't picked up the album...yet. Thus I can't really comment on it, bar the singles that have come from it- which have already been discussed in previous posts [see:Best Mistake, Bang Bang, Break Free ].  I should add, I've tended to like the tracks a lot more after sitting with them for a while- despite what I've written previously about them.

[Battle] Aretha Franklin Vs. Patti LaBelle: Which Is The Better Singer?

These two iconic Divas have had an alleged feud since WAAAAAAAAAAAY back before most of us were even born! Admittedly it seems one-sided, but still, you'd have hoped the animosity would've dissipated as time passed and the pair took their place in the pantheon of Legendary Divas.

But this is Aretha Franklin we're talking about! A Diva who has been ruling over the dominion of Soul and Shade for as long as anyone can remember. And clearly, she ain't giving up either crown anytime soon. Just witness this moment involving the pair, filmed just last year:

[Watch] Jessie J Delivers Knockout Accoustic Rendition Of "Bang Bang" For Capital FM

How would Jessie J handle Bang Bang without fellow Divas, Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande backing her? Without issue, of course!

[Currently Listening To]

New segment time: introducing the "Currently Listening To" post! (You better believe this is going to become a regular feature after I wasted time creating the opening pic!)

Here I (you/we/yo cat) post a song that is, at this very moment, consuming your very soul. It could be an old or new song, but it can only be ONE song, and you have to give a reason as to why you iz likin' it! Simple, right?

[Watch] Beyonce Performs Medley @ 2014 VMAs

So here it is, what everyone in the known universe has been waiting for: Beyonce's set at the 2014 VMA's!

[Review/ Watch] Taylor Swift Performs "Shake It Off" @ 2014 VMAs

Taylor Swift kept it cute for the first rendition of Shake It Off, which took place at the 2014 VMAs.

For the most part her voice sounded good, though she did falter on the top note and have some powerful backing vocals going on. Still, her time on stage contained humor (let's hope the Barbz take it in good jest and don't resort to dragging her), eye-catching choreography (from the male dancers) and managed to use the unusual stage in a great way.
