[Watch] Faith Evans' Powerful Cover of "Be Free" @ Black Girls Rock

Bloody hell, I love Faith Evans' raspy voice.

Taking to the stage for BET's Black Girls Rock, the Diva put her own spin on J.Cole's politically conscious Be Free. Though it only lasted a meagre two minutes, I can't even complain. The rendition was so honest and open that its important message was served perfectly in the allotted time.

[New Music] Beyonce Delivers Sublime Vocals On "Tidal" Advertisement

Releasing exclusive content by Beyonce is definitely one way to get people up and taking note of Jay Z's new streaming service Tidal.

Debuting new song, Die With You, onto the novel endeavor, this rough demo finds the vocals and instrumentation handled solely by the Diva. Who's filming this magical moment, you ask? Well her adoring hubby, of course.

[Potential Panic!!!] Janelle Monae Changes Lanes with "Yoga"

In a move that is sure to alienate fans of the Diva who consider themselves more on the cerebral side, Janelle Monae has apparently turned to the dark side with the first song from her new EP, Eephus.

Yoga isn't expressly explicit in its content, but it doesn't make it too hard to figure out something more racy is going on than the title suggests. With lines such as "baby, bend over", and the obligatory mention of  *shock horror* booty in the chorus, this sunny track, on paper, sounds like someone taking aim at the top-40.  But of course, this is still Janelle we're talking about, so there's no laziness in her suggestiveness or the track's production.

Just give it a try. You might like it. I sure did!

[Peep the Opulence] Azealia Banks - "Ice Princess"

The word "problematic" is one that is thrown about an awful lot when it comes to Azealia Banks. That may be true, and warranted, when it comes to her outspoken, real world views. However, it's not the case when it comes to her musical output. That is anything but problematic.

[Watch] Iggy Azalea, Jennifer Hudson and Meghan Trainor Perform @ iHeart Music Awards

I don't really wanna watch these performances, but you guys might enjoy them so I thought I'd post anyway. From looking at the video still, though, I will say this: Christina Aguilera may not have a monopoly on the sailor look, but even still, Meghan:

[Watch] Madonna Belts Out "Ghosttown" With T-Swift @ 2015 iHeart Awards

Madonna left the cape at home for her performance at the iHeart Music Awards yesterday. Instead she chose to accessorise with perhaps the biggest pop star in the world: Taylor Swift. (If you don't believe that she was just a prop, peep the extra guitarist on stage, despite there only being one playing on the track.) Whatever the case, it was definitely a less painful way of generating publicity.

Rihanna Rocks IHeart Music Awards With "Better Have My Money"

Rihanna had the right attitude, a ballsy set piece - a damn helicopter, no less- and the perfect attire to perform her latest, very risky, single B**** Better Have My Money at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. It's just a shame the song is- as much as it breaks my heart to say- terrible*.

Seriously, the R8 campaign has been such a mess thus far. Considering it's the longest the Diva has kept us waiting for a new album, I was really expecting more of a bang from the return of one of the world's biggest stars.

Also, will someone please get Kanye away from Ms. Fenty and her music. Thanks!

[Free For All Friday]

I feel its pain! This is pretty much my life summed up in a gif...lol

If you don't know the score, here be the rules:
  • Try not to get too perverted- this site needs to basically be "safe for work".
  • If somebody starts a controversial subject, try keeping it civil when dealing with it. If things get out of hand please flag the conversation.
  • It would be nice if it stuck to music, but it's not a requirement! So talk about news, current events, how you're getting your hair done next time you hit the hairdresser! Whateves, really!
  • No nasty comments aimed at other users.
Inappropriate hugs to all of y'all (hi-fives to the underagers), and wishing you an awesome weekend!

Mariah Carey shows Funny Side on The Late Show " Carpool Karaoke"

We Mariah Carey fans already know that this Diva has a sense of humour. Sure, it's a certain brand of funny. But nonetheless, it's still one that takes many an uninitiated by surprise.
