Kylie Mingoue Releases Christmas Cover of "Only You"

Twenty-seven years into her musical career, Kylie Minogue finally releases a festively themed LP called Kylie Christmas. Now there's no excuse not to listen to this Diva all year round!

The first track to be lifted from it is the Yazoo cover, Only You. For some reason unbeknownst to me, it features comedian James Corden as a duetting partner, which, I'm sorry to say, really hampers my enjoyment. Nothing to do with James being unable to sing; all to do with my stupid brain visualising Smithy- the character he played in Gavin and Stacey- singing along with Kylie. Unfortunately that gives this cover an undesirable, comedic edge.

Hopefully none of you will suffer a similar impairment on listening and will pick up Kylie Christmas when it's released tomorrow! .
