Lady Gaga delivers a stunning, accoustic version of "Edge of Glory" on Howard Stern

Lady Gaga visited American shock jock Howard Stern last week for an interview and, more importantly to me, give a live performance of new single Edge of Glory. With just her piano for company, Gaga gave a dramatic acoustic rendition of the song that left even Mr Stern enraptured with her voice.

There were some dissonant chords played- quite a few at around 3.55- and the vocals were throaty and forced at times, but it all just added to the overall sound and emotional intensity of the song.

Please Lady Gaga, release an acoustic album, it's where you really shine.

  1. That was great. She is really exploring that upper chest range at the moment and it sounds like she is managing to extend her range recently; no doubt all the live shows and practising like a demon has helped!

She is a wonderful live performer.

  2. totally agree
technically it wasn't perfect but i was moved by the story she told before and how it was about her grandpapa's last moment on earth

I THINK ALL HER FANS HAVE BEEN REQUESTING FOR HER TO DO A STRICTLY ACOUSTIC ALBUM
I MEAN ALMOST ALL HER SONGS SOUND SO MUCH BETTER ON JUST THE PIANO

  3. Her voice is definitely not the best in the world however, she really really knows how to use it in a way that makes her sound so much better than everyone around her.

  4. none of the singers in mainstream music right now are the best in the world because most of the best singers are not famous
