  13. You should definitely do Jennifer Lopez, she has been one of the list successful recording artists f the past 15 years, and is still relevant.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. She has a very limited note range as her voice is not that of a singer. Plus her voice is weak and she relies on a studio equipment to boost her voice on recordings. A few decades ago she would not have been able to have a career as a singer. People would have booed her off the stage. Now there is playback available to make people believe she can sing. These days it is all about hype and about how to manufacture, by fakery, a "diva". She is not alone, there are others like her whose singing abilities has been manufactured and faked.

  107. a female vocal profile that should be done is Blu Cantrell, she is a soprano, that can go as low as (E3), belt the "high B" (B5) and has a whistle register that extends up to (G#6) i believe. she is a brilliant singer, that is making her comeback really soon:)

    ReplyDelete
  108. I would like to recommend a vocal profile for Sheryl Crow especially. She and Alanis Morissette were extremely popular around the same time. Not to mention she had 3 extremely solid albums in the 90s before her career lost its rock-chick spark. She's a gifted vocalist but often overlooked as there is no vocal range video on YouTube. It says on Wikipedia that Sheryl's a mezzo-soprano but it can questioned whether she's a mezzo or high alto. Thanks! I know you have a lot on your plate but Sheryl Crow would be an awesome vocal profile for your blog.

  129. I checked the list again and again to make sure I did not miss it however, it does not seem to be on the list for male singers. How could you miss El Debarge or even his brother Bobby is beyond perplexing to me . Both of their vocal ranges were up there with the best in their class. El voice is one of motown' s best and that is coming from the man himself and from Smokey Robinson.

  158. please make a Edyta Gorniak vocal range.

    ReplyDelete
  159. You HAVE to do Bridgit Mendler's vocal range! She's an amzing singer with an amzazing voice! I think she's mezzo-soprano because she can sustain a F5 and belt a D6 in head voice! Her strengths are: her lows are SO strong, especially when she's phrasing down! Her highs are good too! She sings with an open throat and is AMAZING! Her head voice/falsetto is soft and warm. Her weaknesses are when she hits some of the high notes, she needs more support because her vibrato is unstable. But overall, again she's an AMAZING singer!

    Here's the vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rwu59nYW4X4

  172. Anna Netrebko is considered to be one of the best if not the best soprano of this century. She is like the tip top of the opera world right now... she would be pretty amazing. You should TOTALLY check her out.

  177. I really would like you to do a profile for each of the two t.A.T.u. singers!
Yes, they are not dead and they are still singing but on a solo carrier ^^
If you can do it, you would be the first to give some detailed information about their voices, I think! I honestly think both deserve to have a profile. The dark haired has a charming hoarse voice and the redhead has light melodius and angelic voice.

    Thank you ;)
