[Watch] Ariana Grande Vocally Impresses @ Ellen With Live Performance Of "The Way"

Ariana Grande put on a great showing of single, The Way, for the audience at the The Ellen Degeneres Show. We've already seen that the young lady can sing, via YouTube videos, but this was the first time (for me, at least) that I've seen her perform in a live studio environment. Needless to say, she smashed it.

With a timbre like Mariah's and a penchant for musically suspect vocal runs like Christina, Arina is still somewhat finding her own unique sound. Yes, she can sing. No question. But she needs to get a style of her own if she really wants to compete, or stand shoulder to shoulder with the Divas she so clearly idolises.

Still, with a voice as pristine as hers is- despite sounding a little nasal and fuller, in this live setting- it's sure to take her far no matter what she does with it. I just hope she's smart enough not to rely solely on the range and runs to impress when it comes time to record that ever important début album.

Thoughts?

1. OMG, I hate her enunciation...but her nasality is kinda pretty..and she sounds more meaty live than in the studio...Great vocals and performance but I still hate sopranos....

2. Mariah looked at this and said..." Been there,Done that.....many moons ago"

Girl can sing indeed but still no sign of any personality.
And seriously? What's with moving into the audience and taking the hand of a woman who by the looks of it has little to no idea who this wannabee is. You aren't big enough for that yet Ariana, to assume that is " your" audience.

3. She has access to the whistle register, she's like Christina in that aspect, both have access to the whistle register but use falsetto to access a majority of their high notes.

ReplyDelete
4. That is pretty cool...I'm gonna be screeching in falsetto all night now. lol

ReplyDelete
5. Ariana is a great singer with an impressive range and a powerful, agile voice, but Mariah Carey she ain't (wipes the floor with Aguilera though lol). Being inspired/influenced by legendary artists is all well and good, but she needs to find her own sound. Also, as Black Robin said, her enunciation is horrible.

ReplyDelete
6. agreed, Ariana is a vocal beast but can never compared to The Mariah :D

ReplyDelete
7. I wouldn't advise it, look where screeching at the top of one's range got Christina and Jessica Simpson, those notes don't exist in their ranges' anymore ;)

ReplyDelete
8. Just to be clear..I would not and did not call her a " vocal beast" .
A singer has to bring a lot more to the table before I would describe them as a " vocal beast" .
I just say she can sing.:)

9. Couldn't agree more with this review! Especially with regards to her finding her own musical identity/unique style. Hopefully that comes with time, I would hate for a talent such as her's to fade into the distance and go almost completely unnoticed *cough cough Nicole Scherzinger* amongst the plethora of semi-talented divas that dominate the charts

10. God is dead :-)

ReplyDelete
11. Thank golly I'm not the only one concerned with her enunciation. Like there's a plum in her mouth or something.

ReplyDelete
12. She also needs to work on her stage presence. I get that she is young and inexperienced. But when she walked into the audience it looked awkward as hell. She looks gorgeous though.

ReplyDelete
13. She sounded great and she looked confident. I really like that she was commanding the stage like a pro until she went to the audience that's really awkward. I don't really hear A LOT of similarities between her and Mariah, well of course there will be SOME since she's her idol. But i think that her management may not be taking her as serious as other stars like Whitney and Mariah during their debut cause i think her material is not to be taken care seriously. This girl should have known that debut album is the most important thing in the early stages of a singer's career cause debut album tells us whether to take this artist seriously or not. and sadly I'm not hearing something great from it based on the lead single. Again her management may not be doing the best to handle her cause they are afraid to invest a lot of bucks nowadays since the industry is sinking down down down.....

ReplyDelete
14. or maybe she's not just special.................

ReplyDelete
15. Lets face it...who in this generation is special? I see no one less than 20 that scream special.

ReplyDelete
16. Vocally she was good, and definitely a lot better than what most pop singers have to offer; however, I still get the feeling that she's imitating her idols, and I think that contributes to her poor enunciation as well. Also, I cringed when she walked into the Audience. It was awkward and that Woman did NOT want anything to do with her hahaha. I agree with that other comments that she needs to work on her stage presence. She was incredibly stiff, but I think it was nerves more than anything else.

ReplyDelete
17. I agree. I think she envisioned her moving into the audience going much differently. I got second hand embarrassment watching that, the audience was not feeling it.

ReplyDelete
18. Not sure if you can change timbre so she's going to always be compared to Mariah, unfortunately. She should try tomdistance herself from her somehow. Get as far away from her or be poor man's Mariah forever. She should change genres. Rock? Old school soul? Blues? Don't know

ReplyDelete
19. Was she using whistle or falsetto? Most of it at the end sounded like falsetto but the last two "ha ha's" sounding whistley ish

ReplyDelete
20. idk if its just me, but i feel when she sings live her voice sounds muffled and that it feels as if her singing voice during the chorus sounds fuzzy not because of the mic but because of the way she sings

shes a technically great singer but wont make a successful career trying to be mariah
i also dont think she would be successful in rock because her voice doesnt have the attitude - but i am confident she can find her niche - she just needs to stop trying to mimic mariah's vocal style and mariah's type of music

ReplyDelete
21. also i cant tell if those were whistles or just high falsetto notes
but the girls beautiful and talented and just needs to work on finding herself more

ReplyDelete
22. This actually disappointed me a little bit. There was a LOT of Mimi in this live performance. Just a very strong presence. Also Ariana is usually a technically great singer but in this performance not only is she nasal, but she was slightly throaty and used way to much compression. She basically yelled the belts. And the Whistles at the end were squeezed out. I was hoping she would release more material that was less Mariah but I guess shes going to continue promoting this sound...

ReplyDelete
23. Like some of her fans, I guess she thinks " world famous" amongst America's Nickelodeon audience means famous in the adult world. ;-)

ReplyDelete
24. In her video doing live whistles she demonstrated a true whistle register and talked about how uncomfortable it was to use. I guess she prefers the falsetto live.

ReplyDelete
25. Adele and Lana are great

ReplyDelete
26. She needs better management behind her. Her charisma was non existent, and I don't think I've ever seen a televised debut performance as awkward as this one.

ReplyDelete
27. This is a topic which is close to my heart... Take care! Exactly where are your contact details though?

Here is my web page; male enhancement

ReplyDelete
28. That lack of charisma has been something I've been pointing out since her profile first appeared here. I, at the time, checked out several videos and I think it simply isn't there. I would hope she can develop it but frankly..I have strong doubts. I think charisma is something that is naturally there...or not. It is closely related to musical identity I suspect. Hence the lack of either.

ReplyDelete
29. Adele is 25 and Lana is 26.

ReplyDelete
30. I feel like people have said all I have to say. She's definitely inspired by Mimi and some Xtina, but she needs to find HERSELF. It's easy to see that she has a lot of spirit and personality, but she's still channeling her idols over that (at least she looks like she's having fun?) Being an older fan of her, I agree she's very talented and has an agile voice, but her enunciation did seem to be off, especially on the midrange-high belts, which is sad, because that's where her voice shines. Luckily for her, she's only 19 and has so much of her life to improve, and considering where she is now, she definitely will.

ReplyDelete
31. I don't know if she's trying to show that she's singing live or she's trying to harmonize, but the way she sang it like that with the back-ups sounds terrible and like she was out of tune. If she was harmonizing, I don't see the beauty of it at all. Otherwise, this performance was pretty okay.

ReplyDelete
32. Some believe that whistle is actually just really high falsetto notes. It kind of depends on what you think. ;)

ReplyDelete
33. He could have just meant that he agreed with your points, and wanted to say something of his own.

...

ReplyDelete
34. I was specifically talking about 90s babies that are in the industry.

ReplyDelete
35. Wow, all this time I thought that song was sung by Mariah Carey. I thought the lyrics seemed to young for her. lol That said, I don't know if that a compliment or not. Just because you can sound just like someone does not make you a good artist. She has great technically potential, but she sounds like a Mariah Carey impersonator.

ReplyDelete
36. That is a possibility but not a very likely one giving my comment and his response.

ReplyDelete
37. I saw it when she first uploaded it. I've been a fan hers (Despite my post above contradicting it lol) since I first seen her on Victorious.

ReplyDelete
38. On an unrelated note, just noticed in the above picture...what's with that ugly black blob tattoo in the guy's neck? Looks like that Gorbachev birthmark. He a socialist? ;-D

Oh my god! Is this a faster version of Mariah's "Cruise control"? Please, Ariana, no, no, no.

ReplyDelete
40. OK. . . (Internet went haywire)

ReplyDelete
41. OK. . . (Mind went away XD)

ReplyDelete
42. They sound like high falsetto to me too.

Although I might just be fooled because Mariah's whistles are usually more piercing than Ariana's...

ReplyDelete
43. The more I watched, the more impressed I had become. She has great control over her whistle register live, which is very uncommon. Good to see she can replicate the same notes outside the studio. I don't like the tone of her voice. Sounds foggy? I don't know how to explain it, but she sings like she has her tongue curled up in her throat. I don't like that. But anything is better than that annoying bony tramp that starred victorious.

ReplyDelete
44. I know how you guys like to rag on Aggie for her awful technique, but Aggie has an identifiable sound and timbre, not to mention she's eons more entertaining than this girl. It's not the 90s anymore; a good voice will not cut it. And everyone just thinks she's a hardcore Mimi clone.

ReplyDelete
45. Timbe and sound have no relevance to technique.

Anyway, Christina hardly has a unique sound. Well, she used to, but these days she sounds like any other girl who shoves their tongue down their throat.

ReplyDelete
46. Mimi Clone who is naming her album Daydreamin'. (Daydream anyone?) Just another singer who can use the whistle thinking she's the next Mariah Carey. Also, her diction is really poor and she's kinda nasal.

ReplyDelete
47. Well, Mariah uses the top of her vocal chords to hit her whistle notes so that's why they actually sound more like whistles. She sings through her nodules to do that.

ReplyDelete
48. Well, to be fair Mariah's diction has also become a little slack, and she's also nasal.

ReplyDelete
49. We kinda have to realize though that all those women whom she idolizes have already filled those spots and really there aren't any left so I'll be amazed if she can truly fit herself in there. Still i love Ariana and I am an Arianator!!!! <3

ReplyDelete
50. Also I didn't appreciate everyone dancing around her, it just seems kinda stupid considering she just stands there...

ReplyDelete
51. HEY EVERYONE THIS IS OFF TOPIC: BUT I HAVE BEEN WATCHING THE VOICE UK - WHICH TOTALLY KICKS THE US VOICE'S BUTT

BUT I REALLY WANTED EVERYONE TO WATCH THIS PERFORMANCE FROM LEAH MCFALL

she has a unique voice and her delivery IMO is great and she has all the vocal dynamics down

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oh7SAxaMpGE

tell me what you guys thinks

ReplyDelete
52. cuz shes been singing for almost 3 decades now... arianas still young

ReplyDelete
53. totally agree about her diction

ReplyDelete
54. This was posted already in another tread....very few seem to be impressed.
I thought it horrid.

ReplyDelete
55. well yes, but after 2 decades. I still think Ariana has to find her own distinct tone though.

ReplyDelete
56. no offence but if you can't tell she was harmonising then you're probably tone deaf

ReplyDelete
57. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan5 June 2013 at 15:11

AHAHAHAHAHAHA. OHMYGOD LMFAO! As I said, and I shall repeat it through your thick skull, "If she was harmonizing, I don't see the beauty of it at all "

It doesn't matter she is or not. My point is that I didn't see the beauty of her doing it.

ReplyDelete
58. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan5 June 2013 at 18:06

I hate laying out obvious points for people. She obviously read my remark and ignored the second half. I don't know how much more obvious I can make it look. Ugh.

I like my claws (nails?) sharp and polished with blood-red colour. :)

59. That reaction was just so volatile. lol it reminds me that time my uncle put two pregnant cats in a moving crate and tried to take them to an animal shelter....#notaprettykitty.

I like to be intimidating. Hee <3
Those kitties "singing" at the back of my house aren't pretty either. xD

ReplyDelete
61. Lol... I want a pet cat...Not those small 7-10 pound cats..I want a giant pet cat between 19-26 pounds...like a savanna or Maine Coon.

ReplyDelete
62. I actually do have a really big head! Like most hats don't fit me ! Anyways, with that big of a reaction I'd say I touched a nerve about your musical abilities lol. "dumb"... please try again with a more original comeback love, that was extremely underwhelming.

ReplyDelete
63. "intimidating"... lol

ReplyDelete
64. The voice might sound unique but the way she reached for the low notes are not healthy and there's nothing dynamic about her voice.

ReplyDelete
65. thats a dramatic coloratra soprano for ya lol

ReplyDelete
66. Dramatic? Her voice is much too tiny.

Try light-lyric soprano with underdeveloped coloratura abilities.

If you're looking for a dramatic coloratura try Cheryl Lynn, or Joan Sutherland.

ReplyDelete
67. In my experience, the smaller cats are more finicky and too frail. The larger cats are more vocal, easier to read by expression and can leap like 7 feet. Lol

ReplyDelete
68. Too frail? What in heaven's name are you doing with them? LOL

ReplyDelete
69. It is a long story. Let's just say that the smaller cats I've kept, as intelligent as they were, growing up in the rural farmland of Georgia didn't do them justice.. It kind of was my fault for never taking the cat outside to begin with. She was a calico shorthair about eight pounds. Lol, let's just say red tailed hawks and cats aren't the best of buddies. Basically, the cat got stooped upon by a huge territorial hawk one day. I mean the cat was twice the size of the hawk but considering the hawk had the advantage of elevation, and huge talons, the cat got butchered.

The thing is though, not even the largest breed of cat could really fend off an angry hawk but a hawk wouldn't fight something that appeared larger than itself unless its offspring were harmed. A small cat may be more massive than a hawk but the hawk overall (except in weight) outsizes the hawk. In hawk language, that puts cats in the same boat as squirrels and rabbits. Though, hawks and cats compete in the wild, they would avoid each other at all costs because a fight between them would be brutal.

The hawk mobbed the cat repeatedly, knocking the cat over with each stoop. We scared the hawk off but the cat...not so pretty.... I've lost six animals of mine to birds of prey. Three chickens, two cats and a dog. Lol my lesson I learned, no more small hawk snacks for pets. It was one aspect that left me confused though...well many aspects...but its fine now. Lol

ReplyDelete
70. Obviously you need to move to a better neighborhood. ;-D
But I see your point. Small pets that go outside are not for you where you live.

ReplyDelete
71. Yeah, but I love cats so much.... I know this is stupid and dangerous and extremely impractical considering a cat's physiology but they need to breed a cat the same size as a large dog for people like me. Lol.

ReplyDelete
72. They are called tigers and lions and panther's etc BlackRobin.
Get in touch with Siegfried and Roy LOL

ReplyDelete
73. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan7 June 2013 at 02:27

Well, it wasn't meant to overwhelm you. But if you found need to talk about me. I'm sure it was whelming you enough to talk about you. :)

Also, big head doesn't mean big brain. You're just a balloon full of air. Nothing special. Don't flatter yourself, honey <3

ReplyDelete
74. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan7 June 2013 at 02:34

"I actually do have a really big head!"... lol.

ReplyDelete
75. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan7 June 2013 at 02:35

AHAHAHA OPIE! LMFAO! I'm pretty sure those are a big bigger than "large dogs" LOL.

ReplyDelete
76. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan7 June 2013 at 02:36

Well, I actually do like dogs more than cats. But i love cats too. I just have a thing for petite things... Except something... I hope you know what I mean... ;)

ReplyDelete
77. I liked it. Her dynamics were ok not amazing but you can tell she gets the concept. I like her take on the song before she began to over do itt

Where has this retard gone to after me replying? LOL. Calling you a retard is an insult to retards omg.

ReplyDelete
79. You are horrible...I mean you are utterly horrible...lol But I feel you on that notion...And the color matters too...Yeah I prefer breeds over the other...lol I'm just as horrible...

ReplyDelete
80. Lol, those'd kill me up really quickly, though a leopard falls into the the large dog size range. 90-150 pounds is an ok size for dogs, but a cat the same size is a much stronger animal by comparison. I mean, look at those people in California...200lb men being mauled and killed by 110lb female cougars... I always found that strange that a realtively small predator could kill prey nearly twice it's size. I guess that is what fascinates me...Damn...I need help. lol

ReplyDelete
81. Calling someone a retard while messing up your sentence you're cool.

ReplyDelete
82. LOL But they don't have to worry about hawks though.

ReplyDelete
83. That's why I suggested Siegfried and Roy...they live with big cats. Have you ever seen interviews with them?

84. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan8 June 2013 at 06:06

I shall presume that this comment was directed towards me. Excuse me, but do you even know what a retard is? A mentally-handicapped person. What does grammatical error have to do with all of this? Are you telling em that everyone in the world that made grammatical errors retards? Because you're implying that I can't call someone else a retard when I "messed up" my sentence. (also, by the way, I still don't see myself "messing" up the sentence. Would you please as to kindly tell me what I "messed up" in the sentence? :)

ReplyDelete
85. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan8 June 2013 at 06:10

Ahahahaha ho dear. That made me giggle quite a bit. Heh!

ReplyDelete
86. Now now Ricky, you are really flying off the handle in this thread.
Retard actually is someone with a low IQ. William did have a point there. Accusing someone of having a low IQ in a sentence grammatically not correct...it does lose it's bite somewhat. ;-)
And frankly...I was also doubting the correctness of ''after me replying''
I think it is either ''after my reply'' or ''after I replied''. :-)

ReplyDelete
87. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan8 June 2013 at 13:05

I wanted to write after I replied her but I wasn't sure as Riri was a guy or girl. You'd be surprised how much freaks are on the internet. Also, I checked several online dictionaries, retard means a stupid or mentally-handicapped person.

http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/british/retard_2

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/retard

ReplyDelete
88. Oh wow, I never really heard of them. I'm gonna check them out.

ReplyDelete
89. It was, and by no means do I think everyone who uses bad grammer is retarded. Opie showed the point I was trying to make, which is odd it is usually us who are debateing. And "after me replying" is the line I was refrenceing. I personally think retard to be a disgusting word when used like you did below.

ReplyDelete
90. I figured, since they were before your time. LOL

ReplyDelete
91. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan8 June 2013 at 15:29

I think "to" isn't necessary. Again, just my thought. I just hate people who think they know what others mean (pretty sure you had plenty of those) and then bombard them (which I don't think happens to you as much, LOL!). Hence, my more aggressive replies. Especially when this Riri thinks she's so great. Ugh. Disgusting.

ReplyDelete
92. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan8 June 2013 at 15:34

Now, please bear with me. Can you please explain why it is wrong? Your point of saying that "after my reply" or "after I replied" is more accurate but did not say that "after me replying" is wrong (which I still think is not wrong, just weird). I obviously had the feeling of the sentence wrong too, but I was not bothered much.

ReplyDelete
93. Oh yes, Ricky, that I am actually 100% sure...leaving " to" off in the lines you suggested is grammatically incorrect. :-)

As for who gets "bombarded" more than the other...I couldn't really say. But I do think your grammar is a bit shaky at times and I also have to guess what you mean. Just easier for me because I talk to you a lot. Someone who only passes by once in a blue moon might have more trouble with that.
I think I get bombarded for non grammatical reasons. ;-D

ReplyDelete
94. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan8 June 2013 at 15:39

I just have problems laying out my thoughts. My grammar is a bit faulty, yes. But I'm still striving to improve. Also, trust me, I didn't underestimate you one bit. I guess now I have the "privilege" or using bad grammar as my excuse. Again, not sure if I'm actually complaining or not. :)

ReplyDelete
95. I am not criticizing your grammar Ricky. I'm sure you are trying to use correct grammar and working at improving. I was just explaining what might possibly be a reason for misunderstandings.
And hey, you can improve your grammar with for instance putting in some reading of well written books. That's something. LOL
I don't see myself changing who I am quite that easily. Also you probably wouldn't mind improving your grammar. But I certainly will mind changing my being so as to please some anonymous internet posters. :-)

But yes, you were underestimating me when you thought I haven't realized how many strange people float the internet.

ReplyDelete
96. generally if it feels wierd its usually wrong. Me isn't used with verbs, generally. But your grammar was a smaller part to a bigger issue as I saw it, you calling another person a retard. While I aggree their original comment was faulty, I feel that the stament was an overreaction. I grew up with a sister with mental issues and now have a nephew with OT, I can deal with it as a friendly joke but as belittling insult like that makes it hard to tell who is an 'ass'.

ReplyDelete
97. To be fair William, I am pretty sure Ricky wouldn't have used it as an insult to an actual sufferer. I understand your emotional response. But I do think intent needs to be remembered. In this case Ricky was probably referring to what he saw as a lack of effort. Not ability.

ReplyDelete
98. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan8 June 2013 at 17:24

I chose to be an ass because she started it. Also, on your point with mental issues, although I didn't grew up with one that has mental issues, it doesn't mean I don't deal with them. I have an aunt who is completely mentally-handicapped. You see it as a "belittling" insult. But my point was that Riri is WORSE than a retard. Hence, "calling you a retard is an insult to retards omg".

ReplyDelete
99. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan8 June 2013 at 17:25

Thank you! I definitely would not direct that to the actual mentally-handicapped. Well... I hope she isn't suffering from any... but I can't help with my temptation... I'm not sincere with what I just stated... ;)

ReplyDelete
100. I would probably agree if not for the use of that word but who is the judge. I went a bit too far by linking them to asses but I find it extremly repulsive.

ReplyDelete
101. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan8 June 2013 at 17:32

I just want to improve.. to please myself ;) God that sounded so dirrrrty. Hee!

ReplyDelete
102. Thank you I think she is in a better place now. I saw that line but how you used it atleast to my eye looked liked you were saying she was something below subhuman, linking retardation to being subhuman.

ReplyDelete
103. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan8 June 2013 at 17:48

Trust me, I view retards as an unfortunate event that can't be controlled... I did not anyhow mean to disrespect retards. But some... like a certain someone... They choose to be retarded. These people are subhuman. Not real retards. No person in the right mind would want something like that upon themselves.

ReplyDelete
104. I would agree there and I wish you the best with your aunt.

108. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan16 August 2013 at 04:10

Very ironic, coming from you. :)

ReplyDelete
109. Not really, I merely insinuated you may not know what you were talking about music wise, and that you were sensitive to this and now I am a 'dumb', 'disgusting' 'retard' who thinks I'm great? And I actually have been told I have a knack for comedy so thanks :)

ReplyDelete
110. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan16 August 2013 at 06:16

Lol, you're dumb alright. What I meant was her choice for harmonizing was so poorly executed it sounded like she's out of tune. Let's say I may not have sufficient musical knowledge, I could have spoken from a general point of view. Do not forget this blog is for everyone to participate, and not everyone has music knowledge whatsoever, but still wants to voice their opinions.

"And I actually have been told I have a knack for comedy so thanks :)"
And surely, the person who said that has "a knack for comedy" too. You're welcome. :)

ReplyDelete
111. So you're admitting you have limited, not even sufficient musical knowledge and yet you are still trying to say it was "out of tune."
Call me crazy but it sounds like the wrong person is being labeled dumb hun. And yes I am well aware of the fact that everyone can voice there opinion, hence why I voiced mine... duh

Again, not everyone has musical knowledge. So if someone generally says it's bad, it's safe to assume that most of the rest of the world would follow up. Like how even some others in the blog said that this live version of the song was bad, etc (although not out of tune)

And, please, read back and tell me which line did I "admit" myself to having insufficient musical knowledge? Do not "assume" what I meant, please. Go ahead. I said "Let's say" it doesn't mean, "YES, I actually have insufficient musical knowledge"

Also, you didn't voice an opinion, you voiced an attack. Instead of going "I think you have it wrong, she's obviously harmonizing" you went ahead to "no offence but if you can't tell she was harmonising then you're probably tone deaf"

You're too far gone with claiming I'm dumb. Sorry.

ReplyDelete
113. I said no offence... obviously your reading skills are at the same level as your grammatical ones- See now that's what I would call an attack (well a weak one, but I don't want to upset you ;) ), which in fairness is basically the way you have and probably will continue to address me. And I'm not meaning this as "an attack" but I honestly don't understand your last sentence so.... awks

114. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan16 August 2013 at 07:30

No offence, you're just too dumb. What I'm trying to say is that you clearly could have tried a nicer way, but you didn't. No offence doesn't work if we don't know each other. So much for calling my reading and various other abilities weak, so what if they're both weak? I don't go around attacking other people. Period. In the end you still hasn't replied me in the previous thread which you obviously already lost your reading abilities, much more so than mine.

ReplyDelete
115. LOL I hope you don't seriously think that "no offense" prior to a deliberately offensive remark negates the clear intent to insult?

ReplyDelete
116. umm of course it does? why else would I like say it?

ReplyDelete
117. Seriously mate, 'dumb' is so tiresome and to be perfectly honest ironic in your case. And save me the martyr routine please, I strongly advise disembarking your high horse asap ;pp

ReplyDelete
118. No offense but if you think that, you are probably not very bright.

See my point?

ReplyDelete
119. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan16 August 2013 at 10:59

Not gonna save you some, I'm gonna rub it in your face. How you came to assumptions on everything I say. Go ahead. Answer me. Who are you to actually ask me to "save it"? I do whatever I please, like calling you dumb. I'm sorry, no offence. :)

ReplyDelete
120. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan16 August 2013 at 11:00

No offence to her too, but she obviously won't!

ReplyDelete
121. LOL I am still hopeful the illustration will do the trick Ricky.

122. Rub the martyr routine in my face whhaaaatt? Do read the things you type? Are you drunk? I'm not even trying to be mean, what the hell are you try to communicate in that string of misguided consciousness sprinkled obvious delusions of grandeur?

ReplyDelete
124. yeah it was embarrassing on you behalf :(

ReplyDelete
125. nah, I actually say it to juxtapose my next obviously offensive statement and give it that extra bite, coated in fake politeness ;)

ReplyDelete
126. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan16 August 2013 at 12:06

Lol. I'm still asking you to reply what I asked earlier yet you never seem to answer me. You seem to have the inability to communicate. I'm asking for answers, not more crap.

ReplyDelete
127. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan16 August 2013 at 12:11

Aw, don't need to on my behalf. You can on your own behalf. :)

ReplyDelete
128. Nothing to be embarrassed about sorry :). Unlike well...

ReplyDelete
129. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan16 August 2013 at 12:25

Yeah, keep telling yourself that. :)

ReplyDelete
130. You're questions do not warrant answers (for the most part) I only reply to things of substance (although limited sometimes I will admit ;) ). And pahhhleeeeaase stop acting like what you have to say is so important, get a dose of reality lol.

ReplyDelete
131. No need :). But you clearly need to.

ReplyDelete
132. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan16 August 2013 at 12:29

Your*

Also, you can't seem to reply because what I laid out was absolute. You simply cannot prove them, because I have never said any of those claims. You just simply assumed that I did. Of course, you can't give me answers. You can't give me answers that you simply made up.

It is important, important that how you think I need a dose of reality when you can't answer my questions because you assumed what the answers were.

ReplyDelete
133. Oh god if this is going to resort to correcting spelling I'm out lol

ReplyDelete
134. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan16 August 2013 at 12:37

Lol. That was just a correction. What I laid was out, you chose to acknowledge only the spelling correction? You obviously cannot take more of your own crap.

ReplyDelete
135. No Rickdogga it's your crap I cat take anymore of. My brain cells continue to deplete the more I read your little comments. And btw I didn't answer the rest because I honestly couldn't understand it, all I know is the word 'answers' was thrown around a lot and the word important was weirdly jammed in somewhere lol. Oh and not mention something about voices in heads which I assume was some sort of attempted insult? Idk at this point, its just sad really

ReplyDelete
136. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan16 August 2013 at 13:47

Lol, throwing my comments back at me. Such a fabulous comeback. xoxo :)

ReplyDelete
137. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan16 August 2013 at 13:48

Then you are the one having the inability to read. Sorry, I tried. You were too far gone, beyond savior. I'm sorry I wasted my time. Again, stop assuming, it wasn't meant as an insult. :)

ReplyDelete
138. Glad you see my point. If only you could have admitted so with a little more grace. :-)

ReplyDelete
139. " No offence" but that last line didn't make too much sense either.

ReplyDelete
140. How can you get more graceful than the mega babe that is Jennifer Lawrence?

ReplyDelete
141. Sorry, I forgot I was talking to a 14 year old school girl :)

ReplyDelete
142. "Then you are the one having the inability to read"

I rest my case.

ReplyDelete
143. By doing that admitting yourself.

ReplyDelete
144. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan22 August 2013 at 17:09

LOL. Wow. That comment was so lame I almost had my heart attack. (Gay) Guys use it too. But I guess you were too stuck up in your tiny la la land to notice that. :)

Maybe time for you to go outside and learn something.

It's okay, though. For you to be so assumptive of everything. Stupid people do that all the time.

ReplyDelete
145. Ricky Yong Chin Yuan22 August 2013 at 17:11

Well, don't need to rest it. Though, give the whole "you're dumb" thing a rest. You didn't have any brain cells to begin win. They can't get depleted if you don't have any. :)

ReplyDelete
146. Maybe I am stupid as that Ricky fellow keeps on saying because I did not understand your first two sentences. annyywhoo, who is she? She reminds me of Seths mum from the OC!

ReplyDelete
147. Seriously you think my comment was lame and you used that cancer line AND that lala land line?? I seriously hope they were used ironically for your sake. Everything you type as an attempted insult just makes me embarrassed that you think your being bitchy or smart (sadly you are obviously achieving neither). Please at least make your petty remarks worth my time peasant.

ReplyDelete
148. it did :) It was just rather convoluted

ReplyDelete
149. Those sentences were an answer to your question "how can you be more graceful"

And cute try. I will just pretend to believe your pretense you don't know who that is as well as your little attempt at ageism. :-)
But if you can reference a tv show that ran from 2003 to 2007, you are extremely likely to know who that is.
Because frankly, by your writing, I suspect you are no 15 year old yourself.

ReplyDelete
150. Nope. It made no sense because it is missing a word. It also is not really an apt description of Ricky's post.
Aren't you done yet with ridiculing the English of a Malaysian dude yet?
I grant you his language IS convoluted at times but I think not as much as to not get the essence and you have made your point by now. You both have and I dare so...so have I. Take care now and till next time...

151. Ohhh I getcha now! hahaha you really read to much into things. It can lead you to very false pretences ! Honestly though she looks so familiar, who is she? And I'm flattered you think I am more mature than a 15 year old ahha ;)

Fair enough :) She's an acquired taste. I think she is one of those girls whose personality shines through and makes them appear a "megababe" to suckers like me haha

ReplyDelete
152. The last line isn't missing a word though :) haha that's dependant on him. And before you lecture people about missing words check your last second to last sentence haha unless of course "so...so" is what you meant. Anyway arguing about nitpicking things such as that is just silly !

ReplyDelete
153. I agree. So why did you do so about that so which is clearly a matter of mind moving faster than fingers. I am sure you got what it was supposed to say.. And one I will take the trouble to correct. Thanks for pointing it out. :-)

ReplyDelete
154. LOL Yes reading too much into something can lead to false pretenses. I never said you were more mature than a 15 year old. I said judging by your language you are probably chronologically older than 15.

ReplyDelete
155. But seriously who is she? and what is she from?

ReplyDelete
156. Really? You don't know Google image search?

ReplyDelete
157. No problemo neighbourino :)

ReplyDelete
158. I really think you have underestimated me if you think I am giving you even a fraction of what I have. If you really want me to take this further just say so. I'll be waiting ;)

ReplyDelete
160. Since that is not the image one would find if one image Googled the gif I posted but it is an unflattering picture of her, it is clear you knew all along who it is.

This conversation and your now second attempt to lure someone back who already clearly walked away from a silly fight leads me to suspect ....you might be trolling out of extreme boredom.

Have you considered something like, oh I don't know...listen to music perhaps? Or engage in some of the more positive conversations?

It's been fun playing.

ReplyDelete
161. Nope. Wrong again haha. This must be getting tiresome for you :) I actually had no idea who she was, why you think I would lie about it is beyond me. I found the image exactly the way you said I didn't so..... lol.

That is very rich coming from the old lass who appears to spend every waking minute on this website correcting and arguing.
And go where? to another thread to comment? Don't pretend you have anything better to do. Your 2827 comments say exactly what life, or little of one you have.

ReplyDelete
163. Yet you still reply... Thought you had to go ?? Keep proving my point for me :) makes it much easier when you admit you're not actually moving on nor have anything better to do :)
