Madonna Reacts to Album Leaking

With no release date, or even sign of a first single in sight, the entirety of Madonna's new album- at least a demo version of it- has leaked onto the internet! Saints preserve us!

As well as the tweeted picture (above), Madonna took to her Instagram to vent further on the leak, saying : 'This is artistic rape!!', 'These are early leaked demo's half of which wont even make it on my album the other half have changed and evolved, and 'This is a form of terrorism. Wtf!!!! Why do people want to destroy artistic process??? Why steal? Why not give me the opportunity to finish and give you my very best?'. Yikes.

If it is indeed the case that her work has been released half-baked then I do feel bad for the Diva. Nobody wants a half finished piece of work out there with their name attached to it. However, I really want to believe that Madge is Machiavellian enough to have leaked these demos herself as part of a broader plan to drum up publicity for, the allegedly titled, Unapologetic Bitch.

This (most likely) not being true, damage control is needed. I'm assuming they're going to be out for blood, slaying uploaders and, more importantly, the original pirate. They'll also be firing off DMCA notices to all who dare to upload or host the album. Still, this event could be spun into a positive, regardless, by allowing for a retool of the album, or help in making single choices, dependent on how the public react. (Not that we'd necessarily know best.)

One thing that can't be argued with is that this has certainly got people talking about Madonna again.

Thoughts?
