Joss Stone is a singer that I love, so it's always great to see her featured on primetime television.
Joining Jools at his annual Hootenanny, the soulful Diva gave us glamorous vocals on three songs: Letting Me Down, Bei Mir Bist Du Schön and Private Number. I'm always conflicted when I watch Joss perform. Part of me wants to see her sellout and make music that will get her on regular rotation again, but then there's the larger part that respects her for continuing to make the music she feels is true to herself.
Hopefully 2015 will find the Diva producing music that bridges the gap of self expression and commercial success because I need more Joss in my life.
