Free For All Friday

Yep, that's the same Gif as last time...Just finished work and had to do a quick cut and paste job on my phone to get this post up. Blogging on it is not a user friendly experience...*Sigh*
  • Try not to get too perverted- this site needs to basically be "safe for work".
  • If somebody starts a controversial subject, try keeping it civil when dealing with it. If things get out of hand please flag the conversation.
  • It would be nice if it stuck to music, but it's not a requirement! So talk about news, current events, how you're getting your hair done next time you hit the hairdresser! Whateves, really!
  • No nasty comments aimed at other users.
  • Feel Free to promote yourself/ blog/ music/ relationship status!
Inappropriate hugs to all of y'all (hi-fives to the underagers), and wishing you an awesome weekend

Sia Explains the Disguises (again) and Belts out "Diamonds" During Late Show Carpool

Late Show carpool time has rolled around again! This time being solicited by James Corden is Aussie singer-songwriter, Sia.

To those who thought the Diva had been using all those wacky disguises to mask lipped notes, be prepared to eat some pie of the humble variety. Sia kills it on the vocal front. James, on the other hand, unfortunately hinders more than he helps, getting in the way of some of the Diva's ad-libs.

[Watch] Adele Bottles It With 2016 Grammy Performance

The 2016 Grammy Awards should have been the cherry atop Adele's triumphant return sundae. Unfortunately technical cock-ups on the night saw the Diva delivering her worst performance to date.

Clearly taking it all in good spirit, the singer-songwriter tweeted the following:

[Watch] Taylor Swift Opens The 2016 Grammy Awards With "Out Of The Woods"

*2016 GRAMMY SPOILER* Taylor Swift was the recipient of the coveted Album of the Year award at the 2016 Grammys for her smash, 1989. #SwiftiesRejoyce

But she didn't just win awards! The Diva also opened the show with a live rendition of Out Of The Woods. Surprisingly it was a simple performance with the spotlight squarely on Taylor- who looked to be revelling in the honour. Vocally it wasn't anything to get excited about, but I'm sure that won't come as shock to anyone.

Lady Gaga Rocks Grammy Awards With Bowie Tribute

gaga bowie tribute

The world tragically lost one of its musical icons last month with the passing of David Bowie. Being a show that celebrates music, the 2016 Grammys chose to mark the passing of a legend with a tribute that featured some of his biggest hits. The task of bringing those songs to the stage was left to none other than eccentric performer Lady Gaga.

[Open Post] Happy Valentine's Day

drool cat valentines thinking of you

It's Valentine's Day, today - whoopee (!)

So I'm still bitter and single- hence going out later to drown my sorrows. Surely you lot are doing better than me at the game of life. (Do tell! Tips preferably...) Whatever the case, feel free to use this post to spread some love! Why? Because the calender tells us it's what we're suppose to do.. :-I

Bitter bishes say "HEY!". (Me: "HEEEEEEEEY")...

L.A. Reid Says He's Never Heard A Voice "As Good" As Whitney Houston's

Some of you might be aware that music bigwig L.A. Reid has recently released his memoir, Sing to Me. Having worked with some of the industry's biggest names, it's unsurprising the producer/writer/record label head would be including anecdotes about many of these famous names to shift product. (I mean, why else would anyone read it!)

Still very much a part of the industry- and not currently trying to burn bridges- he isn't spilling any tea just yet. However, that doesn't mean the book isn't full of good stuff. One such part refers to his first experience working with the the legendary Whitney Houston.
