I am a sucker for a parody, so it's insane- or rather you guys are lucky-that I haven't flooded the site with reams of them by now! Heaven knows there are gajillion of them out there on the interwebs poking fun at our lovely Divas. Well today this changes, and I send out fair warning to all to expect this to become a regular feature on the blog, hosted under the "parody" label.

[Watch] Miley Cyrus Embarrases Herself @ 2013 MTV VMAs
Disney Club alumni, Miley Cyrus continues her crusade to shock America (and her dad, I assume) in her very public rebellion against her once clean cut image.
Performing We Can't Stop at the 2013 VMAs, this new new attitude was out in force- as was her tongue, ergh(!). But the bad vocals and provocative clothes weren't all, she had one last trick up her juvenile sleeve to really make sure all attention was directed her way come press write-ups. And that ploy involved Marvin Gaye's biggest fan, Robin Thicke (the E is optional).
[Watch] Lady Gaga Performs "Applause" Live @ 2013 MTV Music Awards
Lady Gaga's first live outing of the ARTPOP era has just happened at the 2013 MTV Awards! Playing dress-up live on stage, this showing at the awards ceremony in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center marked the first time the kooky singer has sang the new single Applause live. It wasn't as bombastic as I was expecting, but I actually like that Gaga didn't resort to gimmicks or controversy in order to promote the song.
With lyrics like "Give me that thing that I love " and "Live for the way that you cheer and scream for me" this song was made for a live audience. It's just a shame the famous crowd didn't like being told what to do, looking bored and uninterested at its conclusion. For some reason I was expecting a standing ovation was a guarantee- more so for her return than anything else- so to see that frosty reaction came as even more of a shock to me. Oh well, maybe they just didn't appreciate Gaga spilling the Tea on what they all live for: "the applause, applause, applause". Well that and the money!

[Free For All Friday] Go Nuts, People!
It's that time of the week again: Welcome to another Free For All Friday! I'm STARVING, so while you gossip about whatever, I'm going ta get to cooking some pasta. I'll check back in later!
As per usual, the rules:
- Try not to get too perverted-this site still needs to basically be "safe for work".
- If somebody starts a controversial subject, try keeping it civil when dealing with it. If things get out of hand please flag the conversation.
- It would be nice if it stuck to music, but it's not a requirement! So talk about news, current events, how you're getting your hair done next time you hit the hairdresser! Whateves, really!
- No nasty comments aimed at other users.
[Album Review] Charlotte Church Continues To Amaze With Ep "Three"
To those hoping to hear more from Charlotte Church's mezzo, you need look no further than her newly released EP, Three. In fact you won't have to wait longer than the coda of first track-the stunning Sparrow- to witness the Diva deftly using its operatic weight against a cacophony of dissonant guitars. It's an apt introduction to this collection of seven songs, which are darker in tone and more experimental with the vocals.
[New Music] Toni and Tamar Braxton Return With New Music. One good, the other not so much.
Another release from Tamar Braxton's September-due album Love and War has been uploaded to SoundCloud- say hello to All the Way. This grown up slice of Rnb was written by the legendary Diane Warren (and Tamar, I should add) and it's a slow burner that improves with every listen. The vocals aren't as showy as we've come to expect from the youngest Braxton, but that doesn't mean they're any less impressive.
Unfortunately the more I hear from this album, the more I think it will probably flop- not that I'm wanting that. But Rnb isn't selling right now and that's what Tamar is delivering. However, I'll be the first to pony up my pounds if it's full of quality like this and the album's title track. So Tamar you can sleep easy knowing you should have at least one guaranteed sale come the release date...

[Music Video] Sunny MKS Video For "Flatline" Gives This Viewer The Chills
The
The biggest problem I have with the video is the lack of ANY chemistry between the members. The video does its best to convince us that all is well- because nothing says "best friends" like being crammed onto a bike with them- but I'm not buying it! Even the sunny climes of the video did little to raise the frosty feel.
