Cracks Appear In The Fabuolous Life Of Beyonce As SIster Attacks Jay Z (Updated)

Does anybody have any clue what is going on here!?

The world seems almost to be in meltdown with the leaking of footage- from an elevator camera- of Solange Knowles going in on Jay Z. If that wasn't bizarre enough, this is all going down WHILE Beyonce is standing, apparently, unbothered by the kung fu showdown occurring before her eyes.

The pictures above, showing the trio exiting the venue where the fight just occurred, is also very telling. Though Bey is kind of managing to mask the craziness of what just transpired with an odd smile, Solange does no such thing, looking distinctly unimpressed. Jay Z, on the other hand, looks to be suffering from PTSD, not quite believing what happened.

This is almost too surreal! I haven't watched the footage, myself- since it's from the disgusting TMZ- but you guys feel free to.

Update 15th May: A statement has been released by the family and, as imagined, it doesn't reveal much about anything.

"As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.

"The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same."
I guess we'll have to wait until the tell all biography to learn the truth. That, or wait till Solo goes renegade! Please go renegade!!

Thoughts?

  1. What the living fuck happened LMAO? I'm waiting for the inside leaker to spill the beans... Beyonce's life is so fricking closed off from the real world I can't help but have curiosity LOL. And why do I have the sneaking suspicion that once the limo took them to their perspective homes where no one could see, Beyonce went in hard on her sister for attempting to maul her husband????

I GOTTA KNOW!!!!!! I bet it was a "partition" situation LMAO...

  2. I think Bey had the common sense the other two lacked, realizing an elevator has cameras, thus not entering into the conflict.

  4. LOL, you know how autocorrect can be on mobile devices. My entire comment is riddled with misplaced words thanks to Google Play's stock keyboard LOL.

  5. I wasn't sure why you made the mistake but considering I have seen you made similar mistakes in all honesty and knowing your interest in writing, I thought I'd point it out.
No criticism intended. Purely educational intentions from the purest of motives.:-)

I think only Solange lacked common sense in this situation. While Jay-Z held a position in this altercation, it is clear that he restrained himself from damaging her physically, especially in the public. This fight could have waited until everyone was behind closed doors--in hopes of settling the dispute without violence.

  14. LOL I don't understand! Beyonces just stands right in the middle like nothing is going on. I think normally people who don't want to get involved in the fight they would idk MOVE TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ELEVATOR. But no Beyis like "This is good spot for me"

  15. Getting into a tight enclosed space, such as an elevator, while you're in the middle of an obviously heated argument with someone isn't exactly the wisest move. Seeing how quickly it sparked up in the elevator, there was obviously a build-up prior to getting in. I would think common sense would tell you to remove yourself from that kind of situation, not keep yourself in it.

  16. LOL So disable auto correct. Bad for you anyway. As an aspiring writer, you should be really conscious of your writing instead of relying on autocorrect. ;-)

  17. here's the full video. Seriously though i wish Beyonce also got into the fight. That would be a better scoop. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=rWdhX9c_7FA

  18. Well she wasnt completly seperate from the fight there is a part where Jay Z is holding onto Solange's leg and she tears him off plus we have no audio so we dont know if she said anything and she also emotionally linked to both parties.

  19. The sisters looked gorgeous! And Jay Z is as attractively unattractive as always!

True, but whatever cultivated beforehand, or build-up, could have waited. Even if both persons were right in front of each other, this altercation could have been reserved for another time. At least, not at a public event--especially a publicized event such as The Met Gala--where people such as: Jay-z and Beyonce are being watched by everyone. Solange, to me, could have waited, no matter what the situation beforehand abrupt to. The point where she lacked common sense is when she irrationally attacked her brother-in-law without even thinking about whether there'd be a camera in the elevator--when most elevators have cameras in them.

  21. I am not sure I'd describe that as common sense. I find her behavior through the whole thing rather odd. Not only doesn't she try to talk her sister down but I don't even see her ask her husband if he's okay.
And I mean, judging by the fact that their sex life is important enough to center several songs of that new album (so I've heard), you'd think she'd be a bit more worried about his junk? ;-)

  22. Yes, that was one of my thoughts as well. You see that elevator door opening several times. Why either Beyonce and Jay-z or that "body guard" with Solange, don't step out of the elevator and remove themselves from the situation I don't know. But THAT would seem to me to have been the common sense move there.
