The impact Iggy Azalea's Fancy made when it was released last year was lost on me from zee outset. The obnoxious hook and weak (The Invisible Men/The Arcade) production that inspired such love from others, had me experiencing mild revulsion whenever the song played.
So, hearing KWEEN Britney Spears was working with The Invisable Men and Iggy for her next single, I was in the brace position for dissapointment. And I was right to be afeared. Pretty Girls sounds like Fancy pt.2.
Silver lining, though. It is slightly more imaginatively produced, with a bridge that provides more to sink our (now shattered) teeth into than Fancy did. However, this obvious attempt at a hit isn't for me. Britney, stop chasing and get back to leading. Who cares if you don't sell! You've got Vegas money now!
