Leona Lewis' new album I Am was released on the 11th of this month. So, it's no surprise that the Islington Diva is back out in the wild, promoting.
Taking to the stage at Hyde Park for Radio 2, the Diva was smart enough to not fill the twenty minute set with new material, peppering it with some of her biggest hits. Disappointingly, it was another case of Leona's voice not being quite as easy as it once was. (Those of an impatient disposition, skip to Bleeding Love at 13:40 to get a quick taste.) Generally, there was a tiredness about it that was echoed in the stage presence.
Still, though she was dodging a lot of the high belts, the head voice did get more air time, which is something I guess. Bless the crowd though. They were showing Leona some love.
