Allow me to move away from the mainstream music scene and present to you something a little different today. Enter Indie Diva Erika M. Anderson, Aka EMA, and her haunting new single California. A strangely effecting piece of music that sounds sparse and lonely at the start but builds into a cacophony of, what could sound like, noise if it wasn’t for the beautiful chords giving it shape and direction.

Review: Britney Spears "Femme Fatale"
Unfortunately for Britney Spears her new album Femme Fatale has leaked prior to it's March 25th release date and via Youtube and Soundcloud I have had a chance to hear the album in its entirety. But after this early preview will I still be buying the album come release day?

Review Britney Spears : Till The World Ends
Although there's a generic feel about the new Britney Spear's single Till The World Ends, thankfully it's the kind of generic I can't get enough of; thumping beats, lo-fi fade in and outs, stuttering vocals and, as if that wasn't enough, lyrics provided by Ke$ha. Britney is sticking to what she does best, making the world dance!!

Ke$ha can't sing: Listen to Ke$ha singing without autotune!
Popular dirt-bag Ke$ha is often lauded for her inability to sing. Cited as evidence of this fact is her choice to "rap" on her material and, on those rare occasions when a melody is called for, rely on copious amounts of auto-tune to hide and tune her real voice.
Logic would dictate that surely if Ke$ha had half a voice we would have heard it demonstrated at some point on her début album Animal, or even more likely- because these criticisms started after that release- on its reissue Cannibal right?

| Lady Gaga in Born this way |
I've just watched the video for Gaga's Born this way and don't want to make the same mistake I made by reviewing Britney's Hold it against me without letting the video truly sink in. Instead I'll post the video here, for you guys to check out, while I watch the video a few more times and ruminate on my thoughts.
Look out for the Madonna reference at the end!

Review: Jennifer Hudson "Where you at"
Whoever choose Where you at as the lead single for Jenfier Hudson's new album needs a good slap and a telling off. A lead single should be something that shouts "Hey people, I'm back" and hits the floor running to create buzz and interest. Instead, Where you at ambles along like an album cut that is forgotten as soon as it finishes.
