Ariana Grande Returns with Dark new Single, "Dangerous Woman"
Our little Diva in training is growing up *Sob*. Finally realising that rehashing old ideas for hits wasn't going to work, Ariana Grande returned to her drawing board to cook up something new for us. The result: the decidedly more mature Dangerous Woman.
Not being immediate in its appeal, it's a risky strategy for Ariana. Sure, it may earn her some kudos with the critics and cooler-than-you crowd. But since it's unlikely they'll be the ones buying the record, you have to wonder who her target audience is, here.
Still, it should make for an interesting era for Ms. Grande. I'll get the popcorn.

[Masterclass] Learn How To Sing the Christina Aguilera Way! "Technique is only a quarter of it", apparently...
You've always wanted to sing like Christina Aguilera, do not even lie about it! Well, now you have the chance to be taught how by none other than the Diva herself! The Lord is good.
Yes, Ms. Aguilera is finally capitalising on her unique skills as a vocalist by offering lessons online. Want a taster of what to expect? Well, watch as the Diva vaguely explains to us plebs what a vocal slide is. You don't just get dry-ass theory on this revolutionary course, though. Xtina also demonstrates the technique for us, first hand! ( Headphone listeners be warned!)

[Battle Of The Legends] Whitney Houston Vs Mariah Carey Vs Celine Dion
Post Submitted by Dante
Battle of The Legends!!! You have...
Mariah Carey (Light Lyric Coloratura Soprano):
What separates Mariah from the other divas is her musicality, range, and crazy agility. Mariah has been known to write 95% of her music and produce a good amount, too. Mariah possesses a five octave voice, meaning the women can sing low tenor to high soprano if she wants to. Also, she has the ability to sing complex runs and riffs without wavering pitch or losing fluidity. But with all things greats comes with it's downfalls, she lacks consistency in a live setting, and low notes are often sung with a low larynx.

Kelly Clarkson Slays with Emotional Performance of "Piece by Piece" on American Idol
This probably wasn't something I needed to see at this particular point, but I foolishly just watched Kelly Clarkson's emotional, live rendition of Piece by Piece on Idol. *Tears*
Already one of my favourites off of the album, this live showing at American Idol took the already emotional song to another level. Clearly affected by it all, Kelly was visibly upset at points, stopping and starting the vocal as she struggled to compose herself. How they all resisted rushing the stage to comfort her is beyond me. I was near enough hugging my monitor!

Is Rihanna's "Kiss It Better" a Rip-Off of Beyonce's "Dance For Me"?
Rihanna's Anti wasn't an immediate smash for me. Missing the hooks and microwavable pop-production like her other albums, it required a little more dedication before it really took hold. Definitely a risky move from the Diva, since she isn't really known for making music that requires much effort to get into. However, girl done good!
Lady Gaga Performs A Powerful Rendition of "Til It Happens To You" @ Oscars 2016
Lady Gaga was nominated for an Oscarthis year with the song Til It Happens to You.
Lifted from The Hunting Ground, a documentary about college campus sexual assaults, the Diva also sang it live for the audience on the night. Though missing out on the actual award, it was nonetheless a powerful showing from Gaga, who further impressed the song's important message upon the audience by sharing her stage with sexual assault survivors.
Take a listen, below.
