[Discuss/ Watch] All Videos From "Beyonce" The Album Come To YouTube
Beyonce's fifth LP was labelled "groundbreaking" not only because of the way it was released, but also for how it came bundled with a video for each of the album's 14 tracks.
[Watch] Divas Rock the 2014 AMAs
The 2014 American Music Awards happened yesterday at the Nokia Theater in LA. Amidst the boring award giving, there was a peppering of Divas who took to the stage to entertain and amuse.
The standout of which had to be Jessie J, who absolutely smashed it with Bang Bang. Even though she was sharing a stage with two- arguably more famous- Divas, Jessie remained unbothered, out shining both with nothing but voice and charisma. This woman was born to be on stage.
(Also, Taylor Swift takes a little bit more of my heart every time I see her getting her life at an award show. I'm worried soon they'll be no more to take!)

[Watch] X-Factor Does Whitney Houston
The X-Factor isn't something I usually watch. However, with this being the Whitney Houston Vs Elton John week (an odd pairing, no?) I thought I'd give it a go.
Thankfully, after watching the show, I wasn't in tears, flogging myself for not giving up my weekends to the alter of X-Factor anymore. Instead, I felt more secure in my decision, realising just how average most of the contestants were when there was no sympathetic backstory clouding judgment.

[Music Video] Beyonce - "7/11"
Beyonce is cranking up the hype for the November 24th re-release date of her self-titled, and critically acclaimed, fifth LP.
Yesterday the diva offered up previews of the two new cuts that grace the set- no doubt pushed to do so by both slipping through Bey’s previously impenetrable force field and leaking. Pretty much off the bat 7/11 was universally panned with many decrying it “beneath” the Diva- that’s a great sign that I’ll end up loving it. The second leak, Ring Off, was more warmly received, speaking on mama Tina Knowles' divorce from love rat husband, Matthew. This track, while lyrically interesting, I actually found musically boring.

[Listen] Idina Menzel Covers Mariah Carey's "All I want For Christmas is You"
I don't think I'll ever get tired of Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas. In fact, I think I could stand to hear it all year round. (Something I'm sure Mariah's publisher would also want to see happening). Still, it takes a brave Diva to cover such an iconic song.
Enter The Snow Queen herself, Idina Menzel, who recorded the Christmas classic for her seasonal LP, Holiday Wishes.
Bette Midler Covers TLC's "Waterfalls" On New Album, "It's The Girls!"
Bette Midler's new album is just so perfectly relevant for this site! Not only is she an iconic Diva with a career that spans decades, but her latest release, It's the Girls!, features a selection of cover songs all originally recorded by other females. It's like some kind of Diva Inception, I tells ya!
Take a peak at the track listing below and see if any songs that you love made it on to this LP.
Christmas Time Is In The Air Again!
So it finally happened (later than I would have expected): I heard Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You played on the radio. You know what that means? We're all officially allowed to listen to festive music without looking like total nutters!
So come all ye faithful and spread the holiday cheer with your favorite "Christmassy" songs. (Your pick(s) don't necessarily have to reference the holiday, but there should be some kind of connection to this time of year- or else what would be the point of the post, right?)

[Free For All Friday]
I need a night out. Thus I have forced one into existence tonight! I also really want to see the poppies at the Tower Of London so I guess we might detour to that first (it's slowly being dismantled post Armistice day). Please let the weather stay rain free.
If you don't know the score, here be the rules:
- Try not to get too perverted- this site needs to basically be "safe for work".
- If somebody starts a controversial subject, try keeping it civil when dealing with it. If things get out of hand please flag the conversation.
- It would be nice if it stuck to music, but it's not a requirement! So talk about news, current events, how you're getting your hair done next time you hit the hairdresser! Whateves, really!
- No nasty comments aimed at other users.

Rihanna Stuns At The 2014 concert for Valor
It feels like an age since I last saw Rihanna perform live. I know she's been touring and has been constantly on stage somewhere in the world, but I've never felt the desire to check out those fan-made videos. As such, I really enjoyed watching her at the The concert for Valor.
Jessie J and Jennifer Hudson Join Forces On Sia's "Titanium"
Jessie J and Jennifer Hudson are two Divas I'vr never thought of sharing a stage together. No reason why, it's just not a pairing that has ever come to my (obviously) unimaginative mind. But that's just what happened At The Concert For Valor, where the two vocal powerhouses duetted on the Sia/David Guetta anthem, Titanium.
But was this a harmonious pairing that successfully demonstrated how two equally talented singers can share one stage? Or did it quickly descend into a cacophony of out of control melisma and crazy belting that shook the very foundations of the National Mall in Washington, D.C?
Watch and find out!
