Celine Dion Pays Tribute To Paris Victims With Emotional Rendition of "L'hymne à L'amour"

I wouldn't feel right commenting too harshly on Céline Dion's rendition of L'hymne à L'amour at 2015 AMAs. It wasn't perfect, and was definitely pitchy, but this was about more than notes and vocals; it was about sending a message of unity to those who have, and are still, suffering with the aftermath of this month's terrorist attacks in France.

It was a simple but touching and honest tribute. I wouldn't expect anything less from Celine.

Ariana Grande Did NOT Slay with "Focus" Performance @ 2015 AMAs

Like everyone else in the world, I having been getting into Adele's 25 this weekend. Why am I mentioning that in an Ariana Grande post? Well, because I hadn't realised the unconscious effect that had had on me until I was subjected to this AMA performance of Focus.( And I should add, I'm enjoying 25, but not loving it like most, so this is not an Adele bandwagon type thing.)

Adele Hits An Impressive Eb5 In Live showing of New Song "When We Were Young"

With 25 being released on Friday, you best believe Adele is going to be EVERYWHERE.

With a BBC hour long special already recorded and hyped, a new clip has been released of the Diva's 60 Minutes special for Australian television. Amongst the interview excerpts, we are shown snippets of two new songs. It was the first, When We Were Young, that caught my attention, seeming to show some real vocal growth.

Demi Lovato Covers Adele's "Hello" @ KISS FM’s "Fall Ball"

Demi Lovato didn't do the best of jobs when she tackled the American national anthem a few weeks back. However, it was a different story this weekend in Seattle, where the Diva covered Adele's monster comeback hit, Hello.

Alanis Morissette Gives 'Ironic' a 2015 Update with Nods to Instagram, Snapchap and Netflix!!!

Isn't it ironic that genuinely, only half an hour before being made aware of this video, I was listening to Jagged Little Pill, the housing LP of the Alanis Morrisette classic, Ironic. No, it's not!!!! Because that is not what irony is!

[Live] Adele Tackles "Hello" @ The 2015 NRJ Awards

We've all been waiting to hear how Adele's instrument is currently handing in a live setting after her protracted break. Well we wait no longer, as the Diva took to the stage at NRJ Awards to sing her massive comeback hit, Hello.

Kelly Clarkson Gives Good Head (Voice) In Josh Groban, "Phantom Of The Opera" Duet

Kelly Clarkson isn't known for having the subtlest of instruments. So I did wonder how she would handle the call when asked to sing the part of Christine in a Phantom of the Opera duet with Josh Groban.

[Duelling Divas] "Memory" From "Cats"

I've been around a fair few years. And I've known that there's a musical dedicated to my most favouritest of creatures for most of that time. Yet, I still have not taken my toosh to see the musical, Cats.

It could have something to do with me hating people and not wanting to be sat next to a stranger for an extended period of time. But that doesn't explain why I've never watched it online or when it's been on television...hmmm. None of this is your concern, so I'll save the rest of this self-exploitory descent into madness for my angst-ridden diary.

[Watch] Demi Lovato delivers a Raw and Impressive Version of "Stone Cold"

With Cool For the Summer, and her newly discovered sexuality being drastically somewhat at odds with the image Demi Lovato had previously cultivated, it was little wonder core fans had started to feel alienated. Poor dem.

But Demi, being a smart cookie, has just gone and released something that should soothe their concerns AND impress those new to the flock. See, it is possible to be more than one thing, people. We can be both saint and sinner....especially when it could affect the bottom dollar (!)

JoJo Slays Vocally With Acoustic Rendition of "When Love Hurts"

I made no bones about not feeling JoJo's newest release, Tringle. Sheltered under that umbrella title were three singles that had the Diva travelling in the wrong musical direction, IMO.

Florence + The Machine covers Justin Bieber's "Where Are Ü Now"

Justin Bieber isn't exactly my "go to" in any type of musical scenario. But, I loved his link up with Skrillex and Diplo.

Miley Cyrus played host on Saturday Night Live, as the long running comedy show returned to American screens yesterday.

[Watch] Beyonce Slays A Little @ Global Citizen Festival

It's getting to the point where there's nothing new I can say about Beyonce's live performances.

[Watch] Katy Perry Puts On A Show @ Rock In Rio 2015

Rihanna wasn't the only one performing at Rock In Rio 2015. Fellow Diva, Katy Perry was also strutting her stuff at the festival, putting on a show that was waaaay more involved (and PG) than her mate's was. It was classic Perry with props, costume changes and her acting the fool on numerous occasions.

[Watch] Rihanna Impresses @ "Rock In Rio 2015"

What I am about to say is relative to Rihanna's standards. So don't go in expecting vocal virtuosity when I say she sounded really good during her massive set at Rock In Rio 2015.

[Watch] Ariana Grande Impersonates Christina Aguilera and Celine Dion On The Tonight Show

Ariana Grande rocked up to The Tonight Show where she gave an interview that I did not watch. What she also did was play the Wheel Of Musical Impressions with host Jimmy Fallon. Now that I did watch!

Leona Lewis Performs "Bleeding Love" for Radio 2's Live In Hyde Park 2015

Leona Lewis' new album I Am was released on the 11th of this month. So, it's no surprise that the Islington Diva is back out in the wild, promoting.

FKA Twigs Covers Sia's Elastic Heart @ Live Lounge

FKA Twigs' catalouge has been on heavy rotation again since her latest EP M3LL155X dropped last month.

With such a sonically cohesive sound, I was intrigued to hear how she'd handle the distinctly pop sounding Elastic Heart, which she chose to cover for Radio 1's Live Lounge. No surprise, she ably pulled the song into her world with spacious, brooding production, delicate vocals and a little bit of performance art. Basically, she FKA Twigs-ed it.

Anyone expecting a karaoke rendition, look elsewhere. This one ain't for you. Maybe try Ella Eyre's take.

Demi Lovato Tackle's Hozier's "Take Me To Church" 4 Live Lounge

Demi Lovato's sezy new image is paying dividends, with her latest single Cool For The Summer currently wrecking charts errwhere.

Michelle Williams Performs "Believe In Me" @ BET Sunday Best

Our favourite member of Destiny's Child, Michelle Williams (as if you didn't know), is still out there promoting her latest Gospel Album. Hallelujah!

BET Sunday Best was honoured by the anointed ones' presence, where the Diva sang Believe In Me. It's not my favourite song from Journey To Freedom, however it did give Michelle a chance to show off those reedy pipes.

Get into it! It might be a slightly dry serving of altar bread, but it's good for your soul.
